Landscape

To one who's name is written in the faint perfume upon my neck
Your hands gently tend my landscape with their caress
Each and every flower, you gracefully bedeck
In the richest warmth of your undress

You move your morning breezes into the darkness of my night
Until I no longer know the season or present year
Time is of no essence within my sight
Of warmth or cold, I have no fear

To one who's name is written on every single line of my heart
In your ink flowing from the radiance of our eternal sun
Your hands tend my landscape in a world apart
Marked on a calendar of none

The cares of life, waft into silent pieces as they come to light
When your morning breeze moves upon my flowers
Each one you tend with your hand's sight
Forgets these cares of ours

To one who's name is written in my eyes as my master gardener
My flowers will always seek the ink flowing from our sun
My landscape will be your garden harbor
From your breezes, I will never run

Your Voice Will Know a Day

Your Voice Will Know a Day

Your voice cannot know a day that lifts the golden veil from your heart
Because love is where I have seen, you look in your sleep
To claim for your very own to rule the world from broken dreams
A forbidden sight I could not help but remember
Or in sympathy, to keep

I watch you smell the burning boredom of your lost child within
Who not so long ago moved away from the flame
Removing what seemed to be shackles from your smile
Between all I see you do, that says goodbye
To an endless sea of blame

I see you again patiently holding the experience of just one kiss
Next to your dark pledge which is losing all meaning
Covered in a simple cloth that when raised reveals a truth
Which your heart cannot stand to breathe in
As the destiny you are receiving

If you will be kind to these rivers that whisper softly within me
Hold them in place when your rivers start roaring
Your voice will know a day that lifts that veil from your heart
As it is granted in a breath upon your cheek
You will be pleased in knowing

Who Are You Anyway

Who Are You Anyway

Warm winds dancing in your calm replies, leave kisses of seduction
On every single second that follows horizontally
Silken forms of happiness lie hidden in complete adoration
Then spring to proudly sing your name
Across these fields of me

Slight glances meet a full reflection between low murmurs of us
Yet I cannot help but ask how you got so close
You slipped through the darkness of my unwilling emotions
Now I am haunted by the passion
Of love's fiery ghost

My heart feels each step your warm winds make in calm replies
Yet still I cannot help but ask who are you anyway
To make one look around on the shelves of their own soul
To find words that rhyme to touch your own
Left as kisses on each page

Your Hands

Your Hands

Sighs of great bliss emanate from all of my senses
At the very sight of your hands
Sweet murmurs of memories evoked in a passion
Mesmerizing in haunting command

I am quieted of motion, stopped in existent time
Thrilled to my core of being
With memories of spaces and faraway places
Your hands take my spirit a fleeing

Strength emits from the coursing of lifeblood
Pulsing within your clasp
Holding my heart in suspended anticipation
Inviting the fire of your grasp

My attention is gravitated by the fire in your eyes
A flame, perhaps I could withstand
If not for the murmurs of sweet memories evoked
When my eyes are caressing your hands

Heart of Being

Heart of Being

A look was cast, so you and I could drink existence
From an overflowing cup of starry nights
Faintly quickening the pulse of our essence
Telling new beginnings
To take flight

They say nothingness and being, know not why they are
Yet they share in existence just the same
Does this mean one is full of wisdom, taking him so far
When asked, he cannot
Recall his name

Entwined in our existence are strong yearnings just to be
Determining where our gaze strays within
Making it possible to be, more than we ourselves can see
If we drink from this cup
Once again

A look was cast, so you and I could find the heart of being
We held on to in nothingness the same
Will you drink from the overflowing cup I am seeing
Gaze within and still recall
My name?
